You self-published your first book over six months ago, and it received a surprising amount of praise and sales. A publishing company agrees to publish the sequel, and although this is the offer you’ve been waiting for your entire life, you ask yourself, “Can I really do it?”

______

To play (and win) “Writer’s Tea,” you must keep a constant eye on your “motivation” and “days left” bars.

Keep your motivation up by drinking your favorite teas and reading motivational letters from family and fans. The higher the motivation, the more you can write!

Earn money to fund your tea addiction by completing freelance jobs. (Be careful, however, as jobs take away from your time!)

Save enough money to bribe the publishing company for more time if necessary.

Click the player to increase your writing output. When you gain enough progress, you can earn experience to increase your writing speed.

Keep your desk clean by clicking on the crumpled papers--it’s impossible to focus in a mess!

Turn on the radio to listen to calming music as you write.

Make sure your motivation is always above 30%! You never know when writer’s blues may strike, and you need to be prepared.

And finally, press esc or the space bar if you ever need to pause the game.

Good luck writing!

I don't know how much time I spent to finish this game but my hand hurts from clicking lol. I want to suggest adding an accessibility option that makes the text easier to read. I do very much like the different writing styles and the handwritten feel of the rest of the game, but it'd be nice to have the option of a simpler font.

That's a great idea! I'll add it in the next update for sure. I also plan on adding different difficulty levels to the game in the future. I myself felt that I might get arthritis after testing this game hundreds of times, and I think an easy mode would be nice for people that want to play the game at a relaxing pace. Thank you for the comment!
